Hello there! I’m a very big fan of extended weekend travel on the holidays and of course amazing flight deals! This Memorial Day weekend, I caught an amazing flight deal from Nashville, Tennessee to Boston Massachusetts!  Yes, from Little Rock it can be quite the drive, but Nashville is a cool city to explore before a flight out the next morning! I was fortunate to take an early morning flight from Nashville to Boston! I even had a nice layover in Philadelphia which was the perfect opportunity for a Philly cheese steak!

Upon my arrival to Boston, I did not have my agenda mapped out! I wanted to be open and obtain best practices for a first-time traveler here!  There are so many modes of transportation and I found a way to experience each one except the bus. First token of advice, airport shuttles in Boston are your friend :). I was most fond of the water taxis. They were a very quick and efficient way to get to the Boston downtown area and $26.00 round trip! My next favorite mode of transport was the MBTA (subway). It is pretty cool to figure out the paths and tracks and get off in cool areas! I would totally recommend taking the blue line to Aquarium and Government. You will see a lot of modern and historical parts of Boston and a day pass was $11.00. The map and stops were not very hard to follow. Lastly, if you aren’t feeling as adventurous and desire more structure, purchase tickets for $44.00 for the trolley. The trolley will allow you to hop on and off from 9-5 on weekends! It’s a structured and fun way to see the city. My Uber ride wasn’t bad either. Prices ranged from (12-15) from downtown to the airport area. My key takeaway was to wear comfortable shoes and watch the weather! A light jacket would accompany you well!
